Онлайн-библиотека университета задумывалась ещё на этапе запуска университета. За это время было оцифровано более 80% академических работ и загружены все книги в электронном виде на сайт, чтобы сделать доступ к материалам быстрым и удобным для студентов и преподавателей.
ДЛЯ КОГО ДЕЛАЛИ
Онлайн-библиотека создавалась для студентов колледжей и университетов — как новичков, только начинающих учёбу, так и тех, кто готовится к защите диплома. Проект должен был стать для них «умным помощником» в учёбе: быстро находить нужные книги, академические работы и материалы, не тратя часы на поиск в бумажных архивах или разрозненных источниках.

МОЯ ЗАДАЧА
С самого начала я погрузился в понимание того, что действительно важно для студентов. Нужно было выстроить чёткую иерархию информации: что должно быть на виду, а что можно спрятать глубже. Для каждого факультета я отдельно определял приоритетные книги и материалы — ведь у медиков, историков или программистов свои потребности. Чтобы попасть в точку, я провёл интервью со студентами и профессорами, собирая их личные рекомендации и «мастхэв» академические работы.
ДИЗАЙН
Главный фокус был на главной странице онлайн-библиотеки — именно сюда приходит каждый, кто открывает сайт. Я продумывал всё: от структуры блоков до мелких деталей навигации. Но на этом не остановился — успел поработать почти над всеми ключевыми экранами: страницами факультетов, карточками книг и даже личными кабинетами студентов.
КАК ОПРЕДЕЛЯЛИ ПРИОРИТЕТЫ
Так как мы создавали сайт для университета, фокус сделали на доступности самой важной информации. Чтобы понять, что именно ценят студенты, мы провели интервью и опросы среди учащихся разных факультетов.
Я сам учился по похожей системе, поэтому смог добавить личный опыт и идеи для улучшения. Мы разделили материалы на две группы — наиболее важные и второстепенные.

Обязательные книги — основной источник для учёбы и экзаменов.

Эссе других студентов — ценны как примеры и вдохновение, особенно перед сдачей работ.

Академические журналы — популярны у студентов старших курсов и при подготовке научных проектов.

Гибкие форматы чтения — многие используют ридеры и планшеты, поэтому мы добавили несколько форматов для скачивания (PDF, ePub, DOCX) и удобное чтение прямо на сайте.
